The Gold Edition is great but tricky to get running on modern devices.
If you already have the installer executable from GOG.com, you only need to open the web player, select the file and the game should start immediately. It should work on almost any modern device and browser, including phones and tablets.
If you don't own the game but are interested in RTS/economy simulator games, I highly recommend buying it on GOG.com (currently 2,49€).
Only the latest GOG installer (version 2.50.1516) is supported. The web player does not contain any game assets or executables and instead loads them out of your installer file.
Save games are stored in the browser cache. Patches are automatically applied to support high resolution display output and dynamic window resizing.
